El-Sisi’s instructions came during his meeting with El-Sewedy Electric CEO Ahmed El-Sewedy, El-Sewedy Electric’s chief operating officer for power system projects and vice- President of El-Sewedy Electric Wael Daoud and in the presence of the Director General of NSPO. said Major General Walid Abul-Magd, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady.

President El-Sisi has ordered to ensure that local products are made available in domestic markets at lower prices than their imported counterparts.

The president called for exploring more areas requiring industrial localization, especially those related to infrastructure.

The meeting reviewed NSPO’s efforts to strengthen local industry in cooperation with the private sector, particularly in areas related to major national development projects, including modern irrigation systems to reduce costs. import.

The meeting also reviewed efforts to boost local manufacturing of components for water monitoring and smart agriculture systems, particularly those that help calculate the amount of water needed by crops, which increases production and rationalizes the use of water.

The talks also covered efforts to localize the manufacture of grain silos under the National Silos Project.
