Presentation of the bill on the naming of post offices — “Ans. Don Beyer (D-VA) today introduced legislation to rename the Arlington Post Office on George Mason Drive (currently known as the Arlington Post Office) in honor of local postman Jesus Collazos. Collazos immigrated to Northern Virginia from Columbia in 1978 and worked for 25 years as a USPS postal carrier in Arlington. He died of COVID-19 at the start of the pandemic. [Press Release]
