Ammon News – His Majesty King Abdullah, during a meeting on Wednesday with prominent figures from the local community of North Badia, attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, stressed the importance of passing blocks parliamentarians to platform-based parties.

His Majesty highlighted the opportunities and potential of the North Badia, stressing the importance of developing agricultural methods, setting priorities for food security and strengthening the region’s contributions to meeting the agricultural needs of the region. The King underlined the important role of agricultural projects in reducing poverty and unemployment. Her Majesty also referred to security issues on the northern border, noting that the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies are ready to counter any threat.

The king said there was continuous communication with the Syrian and Russian sides about border security risks.

Regarding the Jeddah Security and Development Summit held on Saturday, Her Majesty noted the positive talks among the participating Arab leaders, stressing their willingness to continue coordination on regional issues.

The king said Jordan reaffirmed its steadfast positions at the summit, especially on the Palestinian cause. Speakers at the meeting praised His Majesty’s outreach efforts, expressing their appreciation for the King’s concern to improve the living conditions of Jordanians and to move forward in political, economic and administrative modernization.

They also praised His Majesty’s efforts to champion Arab causes, especially the Palestinian cause.

For his part, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh said the government is working on releasing the executive programs for the economic modernization vision and will also announce the results of the administrative modernization committee.

Head of the Hashemite Royal Court, Yousef Issawi, highlighted the royal initiatives implemented in the northern Badia between 2006 and 2020, worth more than 26 million yen, to create job opportunities and empower the local community.

His Majesty’s Chief of Staff Jafar Hassan, His Majesty’s Advisor for Tribal Affairs Atef Hajaya, Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti and Mafraq Governor Salman Najada attended the meeting.
