Feds Slam Real Estate Co. to delay construction of ICE

Law360 (June 3, 2021, 4:39 p.m. EDT) – The United States General Service Administration has asked the Federal Claims Court to finalize its decision upholding a lease for an immigration agency’s offices, claiming that the arguments of a real estate company to have this contract examined are unsuccessful.

The claims tribunal had rejected VAS Realty LLC’s attempt to break the government lease with a rival real estate company, ruling that the company had no chance of winning the contract because it offered more property than needed.
