Castco Media delivered one of Australia’s premier podcast studio networks, launching the network alongside collaboration provider WOTSO.
WOTSO has partnered with podcast production company Castco Media to provide the podcast studios, labeled PodSpot, launched first in Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast, with others to follow in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley and Sydney.
“While remote and agile working has become the norm over the past year thanks to COVID, we have also seen a podcasting boom with 37% of Australians over 12 now listening to podcasts every month and major players like Spotify investing heavily in the space, ”said Dave Matthews, Founder and CEO of Castco Media.
“As organizations of all shapes and sizes increasingly add a branded podcast to their marketing toolbox, establishing professional podcast recording studios in WOTSO’s coworking spaces makes perfect sense.
“PodSpot studios are fully equipped with the latest RODECaster Pro recording equipment, including microphones, headphones and mixers, as well as flat-screen TVs to allow interaction with remote guests or to present video or content. a static brand image.
“Podcasts can also serve as a visual medium through YouTube or IGTV, and we provide brands with all the tools they need to establish and grow their podcast voice. “
Mr Matthews said the PodSpot trial is launching on the Sunshine Coast at WOTSO Sippy Downs and will soon expand to Fortitude Valley in Brisbane and Zetland in Sydney.
“Members of WOTSO’s co-working spaces will have privileged access to the podcast recording studios, however, everyone is welcome to use the facilities,” he said.
“With the power of our podcast production company, Castco Media, we will also be able to provide podcast launch, marketing and production services to PodSpot users. “
The ASX-listed WOTSO property (ASX: WOT) manages a portfolio of coworking sites across Australia.
